“Ridge by Moonlight” – Absent of the haze commonly visible during the day, Franconia Ridge stands bold as the backdrop to Lonesome Lake, illuminated by the light of a full moon. Dominating the night sky to the right is the planet Jupiter, whose glow is exaggerated by the passing of wispy clouds.


“Moonlight Echo” – Bathed in the light of a full moon, this scene, which was shot from the shore of Echo Lake in New Hampshire’s Franconia Notch, shows the constellation Orion starting to rise over the ridge leading up to Eagle Cliff.
